In a salon environment, Michaela started recognizing that both men and women were concerned about their thinning hair, and many of them became bald. She pondered that there had to be a solution other than just regular hair transplant surgery, which is expensive, evasive and not a guaranteed fix to a hair loss problem.

Michaela soon researched a treatment called Scalp Micro Pigmentation (SMP) and she learned about the significant benefits of this amazing treatment. She commenced intensive training at the Vancouver Paramedical Clinic in 2016, and gained knowledge of a revolutionary treatment that offered her the ability to help countless people suffering with hair loss issues. She renewed her focus and built her SMP career alongside micro blading, which is now associated with the Royal Scalp & Brows brand.

Michaela soon sought out Pamela Neighbors from the Ink Academy in Seattle WA who has 30+ years experience in permanent make-up application and SMP experience. Michaela eagerly traveled to the USA and she is now certified with training from an unsurpassed SMP trainer who is known globally. Michaela continues to sharpen her skills and cultivate a passion for the SMP industry. Her mission is to help as many clients as possible to feel confident with the tool of Scalp Micro Pigmentation (SMP) that boats natural results with no down time or shame.
